Hellcat – 4 Track Demo
Opening with a blistering Sabbath-esque intro, then a blast of organ, a smouldering vocal intro, then straight into a chorus The Donnas or Girlschool would be proud of, this is an excellent slice of female fronted Proper Rock.
At times sleazy, at times balls out rock n roll AC/DC style (Hey Hey, Sweet Dirty Dreams), this is good old fashioned rock out, foot on the monitor stuff. Proving themselves not to be one trick ponies though, there’s also a bluesy, almost country, gem in The Game, a slow ballad showcasing the vocal talent and with some excellent blues solos.
Recently seen supporting The Stone Gods in London, hopefully we’ll be seeing more of this lot soon.
